Feizor is featured in Alfred Wainwright's "Walks in Limestone Country", where he drew the water pump and trough which are on the front lawn.  The house and pump feature in many guides to the Yorkshire Dales, including the front cover picture for the 2008 Yorkshire Tourist Board magazine.
